Abandoned Section, Hwy. 101, 1by ~Azraphale

I stubled over this short stretch of Highway 101 in northern California that had been abandoned, apparently because the road that was grafted onto the hillside was slipping down the side of the mountain and into the Eel River. They relocated the highway several hundred feet to the east, but you can still walk along the abandoned section if you know where to find it.

This is really good as well; I liked all three images in Abandoned Section, Hwy. 101. If you have any more it would be good if you could add them to your gallery.

I made a contact sheet of the images in the set, although most of the others have had no editing at all aside from conversion from the raw files. You can find that here.
