USS Midway, at Coronado

This is a picture of the Midway docked at Coronado, the island housing the Pacific's largest aircraft carrier fleet. It docked to take on museum aircraft and a thousand or so VIPs who were then towed across the harbor to Navy Pier, where the carrier was docked a final time to become a floating museum.
