USS Midway's Final Voyage

I was proud to be the official photographer for the San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum as they took delivery of the USS Midway. Here the ship is being towed into port for the gala dedication ceremonies at Navy Pier. I shot this from halfway up a tree in a military graveyard at Point Loma, which was the only place that both wasn't restricted and afforded a good view of the inlet.
